Grace + Luke

June 14th, 2014

Keystone, Colorado

When I first met Grace and Luke in the fall of 2013, it was like meeting old friends. We immediately laughed hard and discussed our greatest passions: mountains, camping, beer, the Colorado lifestyle, friendships, living in yurts, and so much more. They had hiked a 14er the morning of their engagement session and I soon learned what avid outdoorsmen they both are! (Their life told session tells a lot!)

Fast forward half a year to June 2014. Their wedding day.

The forecast didn’t look like the typical sunny Colorado day. Instead, it was full of snow.

and lots of it.

Rather than hide or get frustrated with the weather, these two and all those around them embraced it. Grace with her arms stretched wide open as the flakes began to fall looked like she couldn’t be more in her element. The snow seemed like a gift- an omen for the two of them.

I couldn’t have imaged a more beautiful or fitting ceremony with the storms rolling in just as they whispered their promises to one another.

This is one for the books!

Thank you dearly Grace and Luke for letting me be a part in your magic.
