This eco-lodge nestled away in the Panama Rainforest near the border of Costa Rica, is truly magical. Run by indigenous Naso people, even a few days stay here gives you an intimate look into the beautiful ways they live life. Completely self-sustaining and benefiting the Naso community, this eco-lodge does’t feel like some hotel- you feel like family. Instantly. You feel the need to tell their story. To help protect their way of life. To stop the hydroelectric dams from destroying all that they know.
I felt inspired to live more simply. To grow my own food and teach my kids (hypothetical kids that is) how to pick fruit from the trees and raise their own chickens. To live in harmony with the world around us.
